Introducing Verve Poetry Press

The success of Verve Poetry Festival proved that audiences are hungry for brilliant poetry and new voices. It wasn’t enough to leave a poet’s words to wash over people — we wanted to put them in your hands with beautiful books.

We poured all the love and ambition of the fest into Verve Poetry Press, our sister publisher, and the new kid on the block. Founded in 2017 by Stuart Bartholomew and Amerah Saleh, the Press have published a wide range of Birmingham poets you need to read now, including Casey Bailey, Luke Kennard, Nafessa Hamid and Jenna Clake.

To find out and order (and pre-order!) their anthologies, collections and pamphlets, visit the dedicated Press website: www.vervepoetrypress.com
