For our third year we migrated over to The Old Rep and took over their historic venue to decorate it with bookshelves, bunting and pink boxes…! We were delighted to welcome to the Verve Stage: Inua Ellams, Bernadine Evaristo, Vanessa Kissule, Roger Robinson, Joelle Taylor, Rishi Dastidar, Alison Brackenbury, Jane Yeh, Sumita Chakraborty and so many more talented poets. We introduced new features to the programme, with Anthony Anaxagorou kicking off the Annual Verve Lecture made in collaboration with the Poetry School.
